A current drift bottle launched from Inland Seas on our way home from Fayette last week has been found near Big Rock Point in Little Traverse Bay (between Charlevoix and Petoskey). The bottle contained the ship's position and date of launch (July 26, near the Fox Islands). Thanks to John Whitney for recovering the bottle (on July 29) and calling in its position to ISEA. The bottle went almost straight east after launching.
